Spend a few minutes every day, reading, meditating and praying with God so that you can take one step closer to Jesus every day.
Sunday – Philippians 4:4-9 – How do you handle life’s stresses and challenges? What role does God play in your emotional health?
Monday – Psalm 34:1-22 – What does the phrase “The Lord is close to the brokenhearted” mean to you? Think about a time when God has helped you recover from a broken heart.
Tuesday – Matthew 11:25-30 – What do you do when your soul gets tired? Where do you go to find refreshment and restoration.
Wednesday – Job 15:1-35 – Verses 12-13 talk about letting our emotions get out of control. Think about a time when your emotions overflowed in an unhealthy way.
Thursday – John 14:15-31 – Jesus promised us that the Holy Spirit would bring us peace. Spend some time today praying for the peace that Jesus promised.
Friday – Psalm 23:1-6 – Have you ever been through “the valley of the shadow of death?” How does God “restore your soul?”
Saturday – Proverbs 4:20-27 – How do you guard your heart? What are the tools that you use to protect your emotional health?
