High School Mission to Big Creek
Fifteen high school students and four adults spent a week this summer on mission. This week long experience was led by the staff at Big Creek Missions. The students had the opportunity to choose their own mission experience from 3 options – construction work, children’s day camps, or community outreach. Each morning and evening consisted of worship services with messages focused on allowing the Holy Spirit to move in their lives so they can be transformed by Christ and do His work to build the Kingdom of God! Many of the students came back feeling empowered to be more active in their faith!
Middle and High School Week at Camp Wesley
Three Middle School students, eight High School students, and two adults spent a week away Camp Wesley to grow in their faith and friendships. The Middle School students participated in traditional camp activities as well as spent three of the five days doing service projects in Bellfontaine, Ohio. The High School students spent the week focused on leadership and faith development. Each evening students participated in a worship service where they heard teachings on becoming a Christian community that relies on Jesus through the good and bad times in order for them to become world changers.
During this week at camp two of the High School students accepted Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior! Through this experience they were baptized after they returned from the trip!
