Frequently Asked Questions
Shiloh has a child check in system to make sure that children are picked up and dropped off by designated guardians. Parents and children will receive a sticker with a matching family code, and children are released from the classroom when the parent presents their matching code.
Shiloh also follows the safe sanctuary guidelines, which ensure the safety of adults and children. Safe sanctuary also provides guidelines for the number of adults needed per child
When registering, there is a line to describe any allergies. Please list allergies (food or otherwise) so that we can keep your child safe!During snack time, food is served in each classroom. The snack coordinator has a master list of each child's allergies to prevent any cross contamination. No nuts are served in any snacks throughout the week.
Shiloh does not take pictures for promotional use during VBS week. In order to keep the children and their identities safe, no pictures or videos of children are allowed. Feel free to take pictures of the building and decorations!
Registrations will be taken at the door every morning. Please be sure to bring the $5registration fee (or $10 per family) and visit the registration table in the lobby!
VBS is still in need of adult ministry workers for classroom teachers and classroom assistants. Even if you can serve only one day, VBS would be so excited to have your help! If you are not free at all on VBS week, we are still in need of a few things: Bikes and skateboards to be used for decoration, remote controlled monster trucks, a REAl monster truck, and anyone who has BMX/biking/skating skills (we never said how skilled). Monetary donations are always welcome! Contact Kathy Shea for more information on servant roles or VBS needs.
